Apple-Cranberry Crisp

Darc has been asking me to use the apples we froze from our apple tree last year. So this was it...


2 lbs apples sliced
3/4 C cranberries
1/4 C white sugar
3 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg

Topping
1/2 C oats
1/4 C flour
1/2 C brown sugar
1/4 C melted butter
1/2 C pecans

Combine apples, berries, sugar, cinnamon & nutmeg.  Toss to coat and dump in a greased 8 x 8 dish.  Place pecans in plastic bag and smash with rolling pin.  Combine all the topping ingredients and sprinkle over the apple mixture.  Bake 35-45 minutes at 375F.
